They Live

John Carpenter's They Live is worthy of some contemporary attention. I easily can imagine this 1980's dystopian sci-fi flick as a remake.



Plot summary.
Nada, a down-on-his-luck construction worker, discovers a pair of special sunglasses. Wearing them, he is able to see the world as it really is: people being bombarded by media and government with messages like "Stay Asleep", "No Imagination", "Submit to Authority". Even scarier is that he is able to see that some usually normal-looking people are in fact ugly aliens in charge of the massive campaign to keep humans subdued.

This is What A Police State Looks Like

This is a breakdown of what happened in Seattle, 2002, when the Police attacked the crowd with chemical weapons without provocation or reason, spraying babies and brutalizing a peaceful protesters. This edited very well using video footage from the Police cameras themselves to demonstrate the point that the Police indeed incite riots and ATTACK crowds for no reason.

Posted is a video done in a style called synchromysticism. Synchromysticism seems to me like a like a combination of art, calendrics, sacred geometry, alternative history, conspiracy theories, entheogenic evolution, alchemy, new physics, astronomy and Jungian synchronicity.

MUST SEE! The film of the revolution !

Watch this now or bookmark it to see as soon as you can. 'Zeitgeist' is a non-profit, 2 hour documentary that is exquisitely produced. It starts with a ten minute overture then proceeds into three parts revealing what Christianity (from astro-theology to the Vatican), 9-11 and the Federal Reserve have in common. Of course there is only so much one can cover in only 2 hours but this is an astounding summation of the key points of historical significance, which are explored much more deeply in other important documentaries. There are some difficult scenes but the end involving a quote from Richard Alpert (Ram Dass) and a very spiritual quote from Bill Hicks is profoundly inspiring.

Entheogen activist sentenced 20 years

Just got word of this from Dose Nation.
Here is the summary:

Casey Hardison is an entheogenic activist, unauthorized researcher and psychedelic chemist who is best known for his indefatigable good mood and enormous energy. Casey attended entheogen-related conferences, wrote articles for MAPS and contributed to Erowid. After moving to Britain in 2002 he eventually rented a house at Ovingdean near Brighton. Casey chose to fulfill a ten-year spiritual journey to make LSD and make up for the drought caused by a major DEA bust in the United States. He was arrested and convicted of LSD manufacture in Britain.

Casey acted as his own lawyer during his case and, instead of arguing he did not commit the acts, he argued that, as long as he harmed no one, he had the human right to engage in his chosen entheogenic praxis. The court rejected the argument and Casey was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Apr 22, 2005.

Casey has submitted his human rights arguments simultaneously to the European Court of Human Rights and to the House of Lords, the highest court of appeal in the United Kingdom. He is challenging the drug laws as a discriminatory affront to free thought, therapeutic choice and free religion.

Casey is you and me, and we are serving a twenty year sentence for dedicating our lives to compassion, pursuing happiness and increasing intelligence.
