Wade Davis on the ethnosphere

National Geographic anthropologist and ethnobotanist (trained by Richard Evans Shultes), Wade Davis, beautifully articulates on the need for preservation of indigenous cultures, diversity and languages with absolutely stunning photographs and a breath-taking plea for wisdom that spans the eons.
This is a 'must-see right-now' for any psychedelic person, anthropologist or being bent on compassion.
God I love TED Talks!
"Every language is an old-growth forest of the mind."
"... to have that powder blown up your nose is rather like being shot out of a riffle barrel lined with baroque paintings and landing in a sea of electricity..."

Hi!!

I just love this talk too! Your comments reflect my own. Do you know of any other Wade Davis material I can get my hands on?

Great website, anyway.

Thanks!
