Here is Freeman's powerful 20 minute documentary about the HAARP facility:

HAARP at work?
And this doesn't look like the antennas at HAARP but there are other similar facilities around the world so it is likely this may be related technologically, either way, it is really weird:

J. Ott, D. McKenna, M. Winkelman, R. Metzner and more from Basel

Two audio files of very groovy lectures by Dennis McKenna are up on Psychonautica, one on 'Psychedelics in basic neuroscience and clinical practise' and another dubbed "bitter brews and other abominations: the use of some little known psychoactive agents."

And the Youtube Psychonaut channel has uploaded a fascinating talk by Sire of Psychonautics and word-weaver extraordinaire, Jonathan Ott, about anahuascas.

Also on the Psychonaut channel is brief video from Micheal Winkelmann, co-editor of the new textbook, Psychedelic Medicine, on the role of psychedelics in human evolution; a sort-of scientific update on Terence McKenna's speculations. And more updated frequently.

Empire of "The City"

I saw this last year and I was pretty impressed. Many, many aspects of history and esoteria are woven together in this accomplishment of conspiracy research. It's very long but very dense with an amazing assortment of previously occult historical and contemporary truth. She kinda misses the point when she gets to LSD and entheogens but otherwise a golden romp through revisionist history. Of course, being a work of the art of intuitive paranoia the video may seem to dwell on the sinister but hey, this is "history" were talkin' about and what is a worse nightmare than 'history.'

The narrator argues that the
"City of London + City of Vatican + City of Columbia [D.C.] are the 3 independent states within states which composes the empire of the city. The first is financial control over earth economy, the second is religion control over the earth and the third one is military control over the earth. Together they make the very unholy trinity which forms the egyptian pyramid that we can see on the back of the privately owned federal reserve note that is used as american dollar to maintain the colony in debt and under the Queen. Many people realize that this mystifying situation, in which an alleged democratic and self-governing nation is actually controlled against the will of the people, is a clear indication that there must be a very powerful and well-financed occult organization which plans and directs world affairs, and for lack of a more specific identification thie suspected secret organization is popularly referred to as the International Financiers, Banksters cartel or "The Crown corporation"

Plasma dynamics and the mythology of electricity

This is a really nice doc about the more contemporary models of physics and the current revisions of cosmology. Following the work of David Talbott and a host of advanced astro-physicists, the links between ancient cross-continental mythology and the pervasive, structured energy that comprises the observable universe are explored. Definitely recommended viewing for those interested in physics, electricity or cosmology.

Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act

Recently the Feds raided The Herbal Nutrition Center (again) and this time, not only did they take their medical cannabis vending-machine, they smashed all the glass shelves and display cases in the shop. So it is favorable timing that the Hon. Dr. Ron Paul has recently introduced a new bill, the “Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act” which would bar the Federal government from intervening in such doctor/patient relationships that violate no state law.

In Dr. Paul's new column, entitled, Politicizing Pain, he gives moral and economic credence to the necessity of such a bill with a vivid example, which of course is just one out of thousands.

POLITICIZING PAIN

K.K. Forss does not claim medical marijuana solves all his problems. His pain from a ruptured disc in his neck is debilitating. He is unable to go to work or to the First Baptist Church he used to attend because of the pain and muscle spasms. Taxpayers through Medicare spend over $18,000 a year on his various medications. Half of those drugs are strong narcotics. The other half address the various side-effects brought on by the first half, such as nausea, heartburn, heart palpitations, difficulty sleeping, and muscle spasms.

No, marijuana would not completely address all his pain, but it made a tremendous difference in the quality of his life when he tried it for over a year. It helped him regain 38 pounds he had lost. It calmed his muscle spasms and helped him sleep. In short, it alleviated many side effects and greatly reduced his need for other expensive medications. Mr. Forss estimates that being allowed to use medical marijuana would save taxpayers at least $12,000 a year in medications he would no longer need. He would also be able to work occasionally and attend some church services.

The Revolving Doors of Perception

The weekly podcast show, Psychonautica, will be playing recorded talks from this years Wolrd Psychedleic Forum in Basel. The first one they aired was Michael Horowitz' talk, titled, 'The revolving doors of perception: deconstructing the myths and ambiguities of the psychedelic zeitgeist.'
Highly recommended listening. Michael speculates about the films yet to be made based on the top ten mythic events in modern psychedelic history (events involving Hofmann, Wasson, Huxley, Leary, McKenna and the CIA, JFK, hippies, yippies and ravers).

Terence Mckenna dialogues with Ram Dass & Sasha Shulgin

This 1992 video, called Prague Gnosis, consists of Terence McKenna engaging seven global consciousness thinkers into dialogs: Ram Dass, Angeles Arrien, Kenneth Ring, Rupert Sheldrake, Jill Purce, David White and Alexander Shulgin. In these discussions Terence pokes and prods his esteemed interviewees and their rhetoric in an effort to get them to verbalize the awe and confoundment the way that comes so naturally to him, which is highly amusing.

I particularly recommend the Ram Dass and Sasha Shulgin dialogs.
The chat with Ram Dass (also their first time meeting) was so delightful and it was fascinating to watch them explore topics from such seemingly polar vantage points. The talk with Sasha Shulgin was also good, I only wish it was ten times longer.

The Ram Dass dialogue is the first and is 40 minutes long and the Shulgin dialog begins about 46 minutes into part 2.

Healing Ananda

This is a benefit CD for my friend Allen's daughter, Ananda Devi. I met Allen in 96 when he was selling Goa music from his shop, Digital Undergound, in Philidelphia and since then he created the East Coast's most legendary annual psychedelic festival, Gaian Mind. The compilation has a phenomenal assortment of artists who donated all new works. Here are the details from Psyshop.com:

In May 2007, 6-year-old Ananda Devi Milletics had a brain hemorrhage caused by an arteriovenous malformation (AVM). In January 2008, she received gamma knife surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.

Ananda has danced with us at the Gaian Mind summer Festival every year of her life - and will continue to do so. In order to help defray the medical expenses related to her treatment, legendary producer Gus Till (Slinky Wizard, BUS, ZEN Lemonade, Stoop and Fidjet, etc.) compiled a benefit compilation with exclusive tracks from some of the leading international Pstyrance, Progressive, and Freestyle producers.

All the tracks have been generously donated by the artists. The compilation features music from established artists such as Aphid Moon, Behind Blue Eyes, Blue Planet Corporation, BUS, Dickster and James Monro, Electrypnose, Kaya Project, Kenji Williams, Stella Nutella, Stanley Arts and Saafi Connection, ZEN Lemonade, plus upcoming artists such as Ajja, D-Space, G.B.Catalyzer, Grains OF Sound, Indidginus, Master Margherita, Sine Wave, Subterfuge, and YAB YUM.

All proceeds from the sale of this compilation go to Anandas medical fund. Healing rhythms dedicated to a worthy cause.

"the first book ever published about psy-trance culture. But it goes beyond that.
The “Boom Book” was a project made during 2007 as a commemoration of Boom’s 10th anniversary.
This book is a collaborative project made by anthropologists, journalists, designers, illustrators, poets, musicologists, and photographers to capture the essence of the Boom Festival. The Boom Boom includes essays, interviews, visionary art by Alex Grey, Robert Venosa or Android, and innovative texts about psy-trance."

Run From The Cure

Rick Simpson cured many cases of terminal cancer and countless other diseases and cell-mutations with hemp oil containing THC. This corroborates with recent lab findings that THC reduces lung cancer by 50%. The hidden story of hemp as medicine is explored by Rick Simpson in this Canadian documentary. If these stories are true (as they seem to be), THC is more of a miracle cure than most of us ever supposed.
