Scientific American on Neurotheology

SciAm has a large article about neurotheology (trying to undertand religious experiences neurologically).

of course, as is to be expected from SciAm, no mention of the pineal or of DMT/harmaline. their oil company/defense company advertisers probably wouldn't like that much... i mean, us regular people knowing the truth...

the seeming similarities between psychedelic (oops, entheogenic) experiences and religious ones is not lost on me. but it seemed out of place in this article on very specific neuroscientific techniques to wander off on that topic as well...

but we do follow it and the advertisers have nothing to do with it.
