Parallel Universes Exist - Study

Parallel universes really do exist, according to a mathematical discovery by Oxford scientists described by one expert as "one of the most important developments in the history of science".

The Oxford team, led by Dr David Deutsch, showed mathematically that the bush-like branching structure created by the universe splitting into parallel versions of itself can explain the probabilistic nature of quantum outcomes.

In the link included in this blog entry Hugh Everett is said to be the one who introduced the many worlds theory. In the twenties of the previous century however, during the Copenhagen Conventions, similar ideas were already vented by the discipline of science that would later become known as quantum physics. Schrodinger's thinking experiment of the cat is an example of this.
