Ten Thousand Visions
Last night I was awe-struck by the detailed and elegant work of the very visionary artist, Michael Brown. I saw his painting on the cover of the last MAPS bulletin and was certainly impressed (I heard that was his first painting) but when I perused the galleries on his website with their expandable details I was drawn into quite the psychedelic reverie.

Actually, that wasn't his first. i think it was a typo in the magazine. he'd painted a lot of paintings before that. still, it is a great painting. i have a poster of it on my wall that i got off of his website.
